Hello and Thank you for checking us out! Kenneth P. McDonald, A Washington D.C. native, and Regional Performing Artist also grew up with a love for music. Drums were his first instrument and the trumpet was soon to follow. Music was definitely a main stay in his childhood home. With an older brother who at the time was considered one of DC's finest musicians, sometimes you get inspired! Kenneth studied music throughout high school and was already playing semi-professionally as a teen. His licks and chops on both instruments hit on several genre' of music. Kenneth started playing trumpet with the Busey Brothers band and show in Washington, D.C. as a teenager and has played lead trumpet with many well established bands of several genres.
Kenneth performs Straight Ahead Jazz, Progressive Jazz, Neo-Jazz, encompassing both the New school, the Old school and alternative mixes always for a smooth vibrant sound no matter what Genre!

Saisa is a native of Baltimore whose formative musical influences manifested early in the Public Schools of Baltimore when she competed for a pedagogy scholarship to the Peabody Conservatory of Music and performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Her explorations as a jazz artist, enthusiast, and entrepreneur began with being the front lady for popular Jazz trio’s, quartets, quintets and performing at local and regional venues and jam sessions. Saisa has worked extensively in Jazz groups, Jazz festivals (Artscape/Columbia festival of the Arts/Inner Harbor) Clubs (D.C, MD,VA), Concerts (Saisa swinging Duke Ellington/Saisa Swinging Sassy Sarah Vaughn & features in Women in Jazz & The Cotton Club-Maryland Museum of African Art Jazz Venues). Saisa has been graced to work with stellar regional and International pianists/ musicians including the late legendary Ellis Larkins (Sarah Vaughan), Mel Spears (Billie Holiday), Jerry Gordon, Lionel Jiggets; Morris Dow (Ink Spots), Charles Covington, Ron Holloway, Wade Beach, David Bunn & many more!

As a Jazz Entrepreneur, Saisa founded the newly reinstated Institute of Vocal Jazz, Sounds of Saisa (Booking and Band performance), and served as the Executive Producer to Saisa’s Grand Piano Bar featuring Mel Spears on Piano. She has taught vocal basics and private lessons at the community college level. She also conducts vocal coaching privately.
